COAG Healthy Communities Initiative - National Program Grants

The Department of Health and Ageing is seeking Expressions of Interest from not-for-profit organisations to deliver proven and sustainable community-based programs aimed at improving physical activity levels, healthy eating behaviours and/or weight of adults.
The aim of the National Program Grants is to help organisations that have demonstrated success in delivering community-based healthy lifestyle programs in at least two locations to expand their program nationally, including to the majority of the areas receiving the Healthy Communities Initiative Local Government Areas Grants funding that wish to access the program.
Applicants can apply for funding of up to $1.1 million (GST inclusive) over the period June 2010 to June 2013.
Submissions close at 2:00 pm on 12 February 2010.
Organisations/individuals interested in tendering must address the requirements of the invitation document available from the Department of Health and Ageing.
