The Joint Compact Taskforce met for the final time (06/07/09) to complete their work on a draft framework for a national compact between the Australian Government and the third sector.
The taskforce first met on 11 May to work on a compact that recognises that it is only by working together in partnership that the government and the sector will be successful in their joint mission to create inclusive and resilient Australian communities.
The next stage of the Compact development process will be public consultation on the draft compact framework developed by the Taskforce.
The consultation process will involve a variety of traditional and innovative consultation methods, so stay tuned for further detail about how you can get involved.
