APN Outdoor Chief Executive Richard Herring was appointed the new Chairman of the Board of the Outdoor Media Association (OMA). Herring takes over from outgoing Chairman Steve McCarthy, Chief Executive of Adshel. McCarthy will continue as a member of the Board of Directors of the OMA.

The Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia), have announced the appointment of Russell Thomas to the role of CEO and Managing Director.

The Board of Printing Industries Association of Australia has announced the appointment of Bill Healey as its new Chief Executive Officer. Healey is the former CEO of the Australian Hotels Association and a past CEO of the Australian Retailers Association.

Joanne Rumble FCPA has been elected the new president of CPA Australia's Victorian division. She is currently Senior Manager, workplace and contracts, with the Victorian Department of Planning and Community Development.

The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) has announced the appointment of Amanda Lynch as the new CEO of the Institute. Lynch is currently Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at the Australian Local Government Association in Canberra, a position she has held since 2006.
