Great Southern Press is pleased to announce Candice de Chalain as the new Associate Editor of Third Sector and Manager of Third Sector Services, and also welcomes Jacinta Hannaford to the team.
Candice has previously worked at Fairfax newspaper The Age and brings journalism, communications and public relations experience to the position. “I’m really looking forward to identifying ways Third Sector Services can assist organisations – whether it’s graphic design, magazines, marketing, organising events, even admin – we’re at a point now where we are able to offer virtually everything to the sector. It’s a really exciting time to be joining the team.”
Jacinta’s experience also includes a stint at The Age and two years as marketing co-ordinator at the National Institute of Accountants (now Institute of Public Accountants). “I have an appreciation of the unique nature of associations and the critical role of communication and marketing in the not-for-profit sector and the marketing issues that organisations in the sector face, such as communicating with audiences on a limited budget. I’m really looking forward to sharing my knowledge with organisations and assisting Candice to tailor cost-effective solutions to generate great results.”
Founding Editor Zelda Tupicoff will continue to manage operations at Third Sector HQ.
