The Australian Centre for Leadership for Women (CLW) has launched a new leadership award for “Sustaining Women’s Empowerment in Communities and Organisations” (SWECO).
SWECO aims to honour male and female individuals and groups who have developed a sustainable initiative to empower women in a community or organisation.
Article continues below…Australian men and women are invited to submit an application describing initiatives for economic and social empowerment of women in Australian communities and organisations. Individuals can nominate themselves for the Award or be nominated by someone else.
Applications open on 1 September and close on 22 November 2011.
