99 per cent of NFPs use at least one computer; 95 per cent have an internet connection in the workplace; 81 per cent have an accessible website, and 46 per cent of these have an interactive website through which visitors can communicate with the organisation; 50 per cent see a revenue greater than $50,000 60 per cent put no money into staff or volunteer IT training. Some of the report’s key recommendations to NFPs were to: regularly obtain the advice of an experienced and up-to-date technology professional with respect to the practicality of the technology currently being used; implement a training program for staff and volunteers that could maximise the value of technology investments.
