Kaplan has 35 years’ experience in healthcare, including 20 years in executive director roles in consumer and health organisations. His previous role was as Executive Director of Red Cross NSW, which is the largest non-religious charity in Australia, prior to which he was Chief Executive of Alzheimer’s Australia NSW and before that Executive Director of Council on the Ageing (NSW).
