The General Manager of the Australian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (ALPGA), Ray North, has announced his retirement and has named Steve Woodward as his successor.
Mr North was appointed General Manager of the ALPGA in October 2002 and was instrumental in steering the Association through some major issues including the proposed excise on LPG Autogas.

An astute business leader, Mr North’s strategic drive, attention to financial detail, and numerous political and business contacts saw the Association develop and influence key decision makers for the next five years. The LP Gas industry has developed strongly, benefiting the customer and the industry.
