1. Know your brand intimately and keep ‘on message’ throughout any campaign.
2. Aim high, dream big and then scale back if you have to.
3. Don’t over complicate things. Keep campaigns as easy as possible for the end user.
4. Don’t be afraid to ask for support – that’s what fundraising is all about.
5. Most importantly, be honest and accessible. We all make mistakes but a genuine and trustworthy brand is a successful brand in the not-for-profit world.
