The Wine Industry Association of Western Australia (WIAWA) has appointed David Ellement as its new CEO, replacing Sue Vidovich, who filled the role for four and a half years during her fourteen years with the organisation.
Mr Ellement has worked in the horticulture industry for more than ten years, previously working in Industry Development for the Western Australia Vegetable Growers’ Association. His experience includes strategic planning, R&D program management, communication, as well as staff and financial management.

WIAWA is the state’s primary organisation of wine producers, aiming to facilitate the development of export and domestic markets for quality West Australian wine through education, quality control, fostering trade relationships and lobbying.
