A national and international survey has been launched aiming to explore the problems women experience getting into Boards on public and private organisations, as well as the resources required to enable women to successfully attain such positions.
The survey, created by the Australian Centre for Leadership for Women (CLW), invites women from Australia and other countries who have experienced barriers trying to get into directorships on public, private and not-for-profit Boards to complete an anonymous survey.
The Women Getting into Boards Survey closes on 12 August 2009 and the analysed results will be available freely through CLW and used for developing strategies to help women achieve their goals in this area and for lobbying relevant bodies.
